Powerhouse metal legends Splattafish and Texas metalcore band Semper Acerbus are coming to House of Rock on Thursday, August 20th for a co-headlining show!
Formed in 2007, Splattafish is a metal band best known for their aggressive deathmetal sound and high-energy live performances. Andrea Alexis fronts the band with her insanely powerful screaming vocals, alongside band members Justin Paul and Aaron Jackson shredding on guitar, Michael Brown bringing the low end on bass, and Aaron Carter establishing the beats on drums.
Semper Acerbus is comprised of Nelson Acerbus’s growly, screaming vocals, Jaime Vargas and Joe Dragich on guitar, Sammy Farhat on bass, and Tyler Thomas on drums. Hailing from Texas and playing since 2016, the band is best known for their blend of heavy metal, hardcore, and metalcore sounds. “Semper Acerbus music mixes solid punched riffs, double bass drum patterns, power chords, dual-guitar harmonies, often punctuated by guitar solos and breakdowns.”
