Since our inception in July 2005, House of Rock has been a here for our community as an entertainment venue bringing national, regional and local bands to our stage.  In addition to live music, we have had the privilege of hosting special events ranging from film events, plays, weddings and public gatherings of all types.  In April of 2014 we opened up the Kitchen at House of Rock.  Our staff grew from about 18 full and part time employees to roughly 30 full and part time employees.

We are all aware that the COVID-19 has changed the way we interact or don’t interact with one another.  This virus has affected not only the entertainment industry, but the restaurant industry in a way we have never seen.  The majority of audio engineers, stagehands, lighting techs, riggers and skilled workers are now out of work.  In addition to the entertainment side of our industry, several servers, bartenders, bussers, hostess, cooks and managers are also left without a paycheck.

During these hard times, we are still fighting to keep our doors open, our House of Rock hard working employees on payroll while following the guidelines set out by the CDC and local government.  In a matter of days, our amazing team have transitioned from mixologists and event staff to curbside servers and delivery drivers.  We take pride in our accomplishments and celebrate the small victories on a regular basis.  Even though our Kitchen at House of Rock business has seen more traffic than normal, it is not enough to sustain through the foreseeable future.

We are asking for your help to help us help others.  Please click the link below and purchase a DIY Pizza Kit.  Each kit contains two dough balls, a bag of pepperoni, cheese and pizza sauce, enough to make two 12” pizzas.  Each kit purchased will go to one of our entertainment professionals or service industry employee who is currently out of work.

House of Rock was born in Corpus Christi Texas and has always been supported by our community.  We need your help in giving back. Please visit our website for a list of live streamed events and buy a meal for one of our own.  We are not going anywhere; the show must go on!
